I qualified in 1997 from the Universities of Manchester and St. Andrews. I then returned to Scotland to do my General Practice training in Dundee.

I spent time in Sydney, Australia before coming to London in 2001 with my husband's job and completed my GP training in Hackney. From 2002 until 2006 I was a salaried partner in Essex.

I moved to Sevenoaks in 2006 and I work at the Amherst Medical Practice 2 days per week.

I am married with three young children.
